We decided to join the SPI team in 2005; we knew that we would need to work hard and be smart at attaining customers. When we joined SPI, we were advised that typically it takes between 2 to 3 years to solidify our business. SPI was exactly right, between the 2nd and 3rd year our business had grown into a successful residual source of fun and income.

Before joining SPI, it was essentially paycheck to paycheck, with little saving in between. I was essentially making someone else rich. I had enough of it and thought I could do this for myself. SPI was a good fit in attaining our goals -- last year we were able to enjoy some luxuries in life with being able to have the quality time to attend all of our children's functions. I also had time to coach baseball and tackle football, increasing our quality of life overall. Last year we were able to afford putting an addition onto our house. There was also room in the budget for a sports car for myself. I really don't believe we would have been able to attain these in this early stage of our lives, should we have stayed with the jobs we had.

To the new SPI agents, I recommend attending the weekly sales meetings as we have definitely benefitted from them. Keep cold calling in a smart, tactful way. Never take customers for granted, and keep trying to attain more customers. If you keep focused with this business and work hard and smart, you will definitely secure an above-average income and increase the quality of life for you and your family. Be patient and stay focused."
